Engineers Toastmasters is open to everyone and, as well as engineers, includes
people from all walks of life including, writers, business professionals, teachers and
life coaches. The organising committee is drawn from the membership by popular
vote and the club is run on a completely voluntary basis by the members.
We share a common goal: to learn to speak in public and develop related skills.
Toastmaster International Mission Statement:
"The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and
positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity
to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-
confidence and personal growth.
The Toastmaster programme offers the opportunity to develop speaking skills
in a supportive environment following a clear set of guidelines."
Engineers Toastmasters are sponsored by Engineers Ireland.
We are a not-for-profit organisation affiliated to Toastmasters International.
Annual subscription for the year September 2011 to June 2012 has been set at
€80.00 including new member's pack and mid-meeting refreshments
Engineers Dress code:
Business suit for men /
equivalent for ladies.
